Volcano Fun

So, just in case you've not heard yet, I'm in LOVE with Pinterest.  I seriously could waste spend a lot of my time on that website.  There are so many exciting things to look at, to try and to repin.  It's love.  Simply love.

I found the volcano pin a while back and knew that Reilly and I were going to be doing this sometime this summer.  Yesterday seemed like the perfect day for some volcano fun since it was pretty much the first rainy day of the summer.

We gathered all our supplies...

And we were off.  I was hoping for maybe 20 minutes....this kept my little man busy for about 45!  Wahoo!!!!

 He was so proud to be doing it all by himself!

 $2.99 baking soda, $2.69 eye dropper, food coloring that I had...This expression...PRICELESS!

 Our volcanoes are starting to look good!

 He loved the bubbling reaction...

 Well...hmm...would you look at that???

 After round 1 of our volcanoes...we came back to this and made more when Daddy got home!
