It's Valentine's Day. Many people let the day come and go, not paying much attention, not willing to give in to what they consider to be a "Hallmark Holiday." While it didn't take over our lives today, Dave and I did acknowledge the day.
I have the best Valentine that I could have ever hoped for. He's everything I desire, want, need and expect. He's the love of my life.
Here are just a sample of the reasons why I love Dave with all my heart and consider myself to be one lucky wife!
- He gives the best forehead kisses
- He puts me first (most of the time :)...)
- He loves me, unconditionally
- He puts up with me, no matter my mood
- His hugs make me feel safe
- He doesn't complain about my snoring...too much
- He always reminds me how much he loves me
- He takes care of me
- He laughs at my jokes
- He listens to my stories
- He buys me warm blankets for Valentine's Day
- He lets Penelope the Pig sleep in our bed!
- He's open to all my hair-brained ideas
- He lets me choose what to watch on television at night
- He tucks me in when he's not coming to bed with me
- He makes me dinner
- He lets me live out my childhood dream of being a hairdresser by letting me cut his hair
- He's cute
- He loves me
