Volcano Fun

So, just in case you've not heard yet, I'm in LOVE with Pinterest.  I seriously could waste spend a lot of my time on that website.  There are so many exciting things to look at, to try and to repin.  It's love.  Simply love.

I found the volcano pin a while back and knew that Reilly and I were going to be doing this sometime this summer.  Yesterday seemed like the perfect day for some volcano fun since it was pretty much the first rainy day of the summer.

We gathered all our supplies...

And we were off.  I was hoping for maybe 20 minutes....this kept my little man busy for about 45!  Wahoo!!!!

 The first squirt...
 Such concentration...
This was the exact reaction EVERY TIME...
 Adding some new colors...
This was about 20 minutes in...still very interesting...
He was so proud to be doing it all by himself!
 $2.99 baking soda, $2.69 eye dropper, food coloring that I had...This expression...PRICELESS!
Our volcanoes are starting to look good!

 He loved the bubbling reaction...
 Well...hmm...would you look at that???

 Focus....
After round 1 of our volcanoes...we came back to this and made more when Daddy got home!

It's Just A Photo Dump

So, it's the middle of July and the teacher part of me is SUPER-DE-DUPER excited about all the fun new school supplies that are arriving at the stores daily.  The Mommy part of me is SUPER-DE-DUPER sad that our time this summer is going to be over before I know it.
This has undoubtly been the best summer of my life.  The gift of being able to hang with my little man is the best present that I've been given.  Ever.  We are making memories everyday.  He is at such a fun age...everything we do is fun!
This blog is really just a photo dump of pictures that I was supposed going to blog about and never did.  Who knows, those blogs might show up another day.  Just not today.
Enjoy just a glimpse into our days...
Since it's been such a crazy hot summer, we've spent a lot of time playing with the hose!
Sometimes the play-doh is calling so loudly, we don't even have time to get our of jammies!
A little "Off Roading" in the wagon!  Brady's always good for an adventure!
Reilly's pretty much an expert bubble blower!
We're still workin' on lovin' these new Thomas Under Dunders!
I considered applying for the train engineer position when it was posted at the zoo.  We're there enough...might as well get paid for it!
We've had a lot of fun going to Beutter Park on Thursday nights to listen to the bands.
And sometimes the park is just smelly!
We were lucky enough to be invited to a swim meet for Aunt Kim's Godson.
We've spent a lot of time at the park...slides are a must!

Turtles have become a very important reptile to Reilly this summer.
See above!  We found this little guy at George Wilson Park
Spent some time "crusin" around looking for a date...
And of course...one of the best things about summer so far...getting to stay up late and sleep in!
