If you are feeling any bit down, take the 6.5 minutes to watch this video. It's the funniest thing I've seen in a long time and actually made me laugh out loud!

I Love This Girl!

Sara is a somewhat new friend. Well, I guess if you call since August somewhat new! I know without a doubt she has been brought into my life for so many reasons...one of the most important being she makes me laugh...ALL THE TIME!
I was lucky enough to spend the day with this amazing woman today at math training. This is what I saw quite a few times when I looked across the table. Sara...trying to teach herself to whistle. I love this girl.

This might be the funniest thing I have ever seen. Maybe you have to be a teacher to really understand the humor in such things...but truly, any person who works with children understands that we deal with such things everyday! I found this on the internet and just can't stop laughing. I hope you enjoy as much as I do!

Dear Mrs. Jones,
Mrs. Smith

Dear Mrs. Jones,
I wish to clarify that I am not now, nor have I ever been, an exotic dancer. I work at Home Depot and I told Sarah how hectic it was last week before the blizzard hit. I told her we sold out every single shovel we had. Then I found one more in the back room, and several people were fighting over who would get it. Sarah's picture does NOT show me dancing around a pole. It's supposed to depict me selling the last snow shovel we had at Home Depot. From now on I will remember to check her homework more thoroughly before she turns it in.
Sincerely,Mrs. Smith

History In The Making...
It's days like today that no matter what you planned to teach...you throw it to the side, you turn on the TV and you let your kids watch history. Well...at least that's what I did.60 years ago his family couldn't even vote.
Today, he's our 44th President.
That's inspiring.
That's why I'm proud to be an American!

I'm A Member Of The "Proud Of Sully" Group!
The events of last Thursday were an inspiring miracle. There's no other way to explain how a huge airbus, carrying over 150 people in it, could land in the middle of the Hudson River right outside of Manhatten, with everyone surviving and the plane in one piece.
Dave and I were at the dentist when we first saw the TV showing reports. It was hard to comprehend just what was going on. It was hard to realize that it was real life, not a made for tv movie. It was hard to believe that the Miracle Man Sully landed that plane, under those conditions and everyone survived. It was hard to believe how amazing it really was.
For some reason, this has touched my heart. The stories. The people. The pictures. I don't know why. I don't know if it's because my brother in law is a pilot, I don't know if it's just the fact that God's hand obviously landed them safely, I just don't know. I'm hooked, I know that.
I think it's inspiring.

Argh!
Why is it that if I were 15 years younger, I would be skipping through the house yelling "Snow Day, Snow Day!" but now I'm just as annoyed as snot! Ugh! Snow days are so much fun when you grow up! Blah at growing up! Blah blah at snow days.

Who Knew...
Who knew!?!?!?
Who knew life was so simple?!?!?!
Who knew all you had to do was wear your pajamas inside out and put a spoon under your pillow after you flushed an ice cube down the toilet in order to make it a snow day!
The answers I've been waiting for...
Well...according to my 4th graders at least.
